Carpenter Brothers, Inc. is proud to supply W. Abrasives, STELUX® line of stainless steel abrasive media. STELUX is used for surface cleaning, preparation, and finishing of non–ferrous metals, stainless steel castings or forgings, as well as granite and marble. STELUX is provided in three different grades: C (chromium-based stainless steel shot), CN (chromium – nickel-based stainless steel shot), and CG (chromium-based stainless steel grit).
Chromium stainless steel shot has higher mechanical efficiency due to its shape and hardness. Therefore, it is an economical substitute to the chromium-nickel grade for lower surface brightness or corrosion resistance demands. Chromium-nickel stainless steel shot is austenitic stainless steel media used for blasting non-rusting materials with stringent corrosion protection and surface brightness requirements.

Due to its high mechanical performance and lifetime, STELUX CG offers a genuine ecological alternative to other surface treatment solutions, such as blasting with aluminum oxide, garnet, and other mineral abrasives, which generates much more waste and dust emissions.
