Temperature Measurement
Carpenter Brothers, Inc. works with Heraeus Electro-Nite to offer the most robust molten metal temperature measurement equipment. Heraeus offers five different molten metal temperature measurement instruments designed with specific features and can be used in all molten metal applications, with all existing immersion thermocouples.

Molten Metal Temperature Measurement Instruments:
QUBE – Wireless instrument
The complete QUBE system has a transmitter, handle, and receiver with a 2” display, with 300 feet transmitter to receiver distance. The receiver has full data output and remote signal light interface and a remote display interface with control lights and a buzzer on the face. The system works with MC2020 network data collection software. In addition, the receiver has a built-in wired pole backup. Complete poles available for purchase.
DTE4 – Wall mounted instrument for wired or wired pole
The DTE4 model has full data output and remote signal light interface and remote display interface, with control lights and buzzer on the face and a 2” display. The system works with MC2020 network data collection software. It will work with any wired pole. Complete poles available for purchase.
LDMD – Wall mounted instrument for wired pole
The LDMD model is a basic temperature instrument. It has control lights, a buzzer on the face, and a 4” display. No data output or remote light interface. It will work with any wired pole. Complete poles available for purchase.
DLV – Hand-held instrument
The standard DLV model has rechargeable batteries that offer 750 measurements per charge. There is an exclusive lock on temperature display, with indicator lights and a buzzer (end of measurement) on the face. Standard pole configuration is 48” in length with a 45-degree bend at 12”. Other pole lengths and configurations are available.
DLVM – Hand-held instrument with memory
The DLVM model has rechargeable batteries that offer 750 measurements per charge. There is an exclusive lock on temperature display, with indicator lights and a buzzer (end of measurement) on the face. The instrument stores measurement data, which can be transferred via an infrared wireless adapter (SOFTWARE INCLUDED). Pole configurations are the same as the standard DL4 model.
